If you don’t know what a bullet journal weekly spread is, read this first. A Bullet Journal weekly spread/ weekly log/ weeklies are pages in your journal which has distinct sections for each day of the week. A weekly bullet journal spread gives you the opportunity to make separate entries for the tasks to be done on each days.

It helps you maintain productivity while enhancing your efficiency of getting work done. Every time I see my weekly spread, I know what has to be done today, tomorrow, after one week etc. It helps to stay organized!

Unlike a monthly spread which gives an overview of the month, weekly spread gives a detailed description of tasks, to-do lists, notes, important appointments and everything you want to get accomplished in the week.

How do you make a Bullet Journal Weekly Spread?

Bullet journal weekly spreads are easy to create and varies according to your theme. I’m going to tell you how I create my bullet journal weekly spread. Firstly, start off by writing the week which you’re covering on the top left corner of the page. Then I like to create a mini-calendar on the right hand side to keep track of which week it is. I highlight the week which I’m covering in my weekly bullet journal layout.

Then I go on to create a box of to-do list for the week. I divide the boxes into various sections (7) for the week days. After that, I use my highlighter to create thick lines on other side of the page. These lines represent my dailies so I write each day over the lines and it’s done. This is my simplest way of making a bullet journal weekly spread.

You can also add various other sections/doodles to enhance it’s look. But if you’re busy then this one is the simplest way to create your weekly bullet journal spread.

I use this ✅Dotted Grid Journal. You can get this hard cover bullet journal at a very inexpensive price on Amazon. The journal is exclusively designed for bullet journaling and the dotted pages makes the designing and drawing very easy! It doesn’t bleed and you get a good size hard cover journal. Also, you can use this ✅Essentials Dot Matrix Journal, which comes in two sizes A5 size and A4 size. Although it bleeds, it can be perfect if you’re not into designing or using a lot of color markers. Also, I personally love this Watercolor Sunset Dot Matrix Notebook – It has a beautiful cover and I totally recommend it if you’re looking for something other than plain covered journal.
I use this ✅Pigma Micron Black Pen for titles. They are expensive but you get a pack of 6 (for not more than $10), totally worth the price!! These pens come in different sizes. In bullet journaling, pens are used the most, so investing in good ones from the beginning is the best idea.
What’s a journal without some decoration? I get these ✅Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens for decorating. I also love these pastel colorful markers.
These ✅20 pieces stencil pack- which offers many creative options! Also, they can be easily cleaned, reused and of perfect size for your BuJo!
